Not everyone realizes it, but every Kindle activated with an Amazon account is assigned a unique email address. To find the email address of your Kindle, login to your Amazon account and visit the Manage Your Content & Devices () page: You can simply email the “.mobi” file as an attachment to the email address associated with your Kindle.
It defaults to showing you “Your Content,” the Kindle books and other items in your library. Click on the “ Your Devices” tab to see the Kindle devices and applications that are associated with your account:Īs you can see, I’ve clicked on one of my Kindles (we have several), and beneath it the page lists the email address associated with that Kindle. Using the free app to see one’s book creation, or parts of it, will allow the book upload-download-process to appear “exactly” as how an amazon book would if downloaded from Amazon. Hence, that book looks “pretty” and can be read by: text to speech, or, certain words and more can be highlighted in colors for quirky editing, or note making, etc.
